[NLRS] 902 filter status

  Thanks for the emails and help on the 902 filter. Thanks to Gary W0GHZ and Paul W0UC I am cell interference free! Paul sent up a Can Cavity (6"dia x 13" tall). I could adjust it for passing 902 OR 903 but not both. Since several guys are working 903 only, this could be an issue during contests. Then yesterday Gary sent a filter that is 3 striplines and  is broad enough to pass both 902 and 903. 

   So I am back in business again. I had only discovered and verified the problem recently by borrowing a portable spectrum analyzer from Jim KB0CIM. I had not noticed the noise floor change when working Gary W0GHZ daily since the cell tower is off to the side of the antenna. Trying to work Paul W0UC and others at about 135deg was a lost cause with the noise floor in that direction S9!
