May as well include NLRS and CVVHF in the morning QST
about the sprint. Please take note of the new rover who will be
out doing the EN53/42/43/52 grid corner just a bit WSW of
Madison, WI.
Anyone up your way have plans? Any rovers going out?
Get on and make some noise for the 2m Fall Sprint tonight,
from 7-11pm. I know of at least one (new) rover who will be
on from the area just SW of Madison, WI. In fact, per his
request, here's his plans:
"I'm a definite rover for tonight's sprint. I'll be starting in Blue
Mound State Park (EN53ba). I'll then head down to EN42xx for
a bit, followed by EN43xa. If things look promising, I'll mosey
over to EN52ax. Lastly, if anybody on-air asks me to, I'll drive
down to Belmont Mound State Park (Lafayette County) EN42ts
and/or by Highway 78 at Highway 39 (Green County) EN52cu.
-Thomas KE6CBR
Mount Horeb, WI EN53da"
KE6CBR has indicated he'll have a 4-element beam into an
FT-847. Hope he gets lots of activity and that we'll all be
patient as he gets used to roving.
KX9M will be loud from a ski hill near Sussex, WI (NW
suburb of Milwaukee) in EN53vd.
K9JK will be roving at least EN52 and 62 in the NW
Chicagoland area.
I will be on tonight from EN63ao, as my 2m is one thing that
still works and rotates, LOL.
Let's make up for that slow ARRL contest two weekends ago
with a strong 2m turnout tonight. Help spread the word.
