Following up on the message I sent September 1st, THANK YOU to
all who responded by sending logs in.

I've just done a new Excel import of the latest Logs Received
report for the UHF Contest, now reporting "195 logs received".
Unless there are a lot more than 10% paper logs or a FLURRY of
last minute log submissions, it would appear that 250 will not
be reached but a SOLID crossing of 200 IS almost certain.

Badger Contesters is now showing on 10 electronically submitted
logs:
      K2YAZ
      K9JK/R
      KC9BQA
      KF8QL
      N9LB
      N9TF
      W9FZ/R
      W9GA
      W9SNR/R
      WB8BZK/R

Still not seeing a log from K0PG and a direct e-mail to Tim has
gone unanswered.

and NLRS is now showing on 14* electronically submitted logs:
      K0AWU
      K0SIX
      N0HZO/R
      KM0T
      N0AKC
      N0HZO/R
      W0GHZ/R
      W0GHZ
      W0OHU
      W0UC
      W0ZQ/R
      W0ZQ
      WA0VPJ
      WA2VOI/R

*It's "odd" that N0HZO/R appears twice and appearing to be out
of alphabetical order for the first one), so maybe it's only 13
for NLRS? The first N0HZO/R is listed as a "Checklog" so maybe
it's just something "odd" that happened with the robot and it's
been reported to Sean to be worked out.

I'm still interested in receiving stories/tidbits about the UHF
Contest...any unique or unexpected things that happened (even
visits by Murphy...but HOPEFULLY none as extreme as what
happened to Duffey, KK6MC).

Part of my urging for getting logs in is so the go ahead can be
given to start the log checking process, which needs to be
completed so I can have the "real" results from which to begin
writing the Results article. With the contest having been as
late as it can be, making the log deadline later, also slipping
the log checking completion deadline (target one month after log
submission deadline) BUT QST's deadlines do NOT change, my
"deadline" is the third week of October (10/22) to be able to
make the January 2011 QST and I may not get results until the
second week of October.

250, JK
