222 Tuesday is the general USA/VE activity night. No net
control, no single area of focus. You get on/near 222.100MHz,
call CQ, swing beams, see who's out there. Most guys have
been getting on from about 7-8pm their local time.
Last few weeks, I've gotten good email reports from K8TQK.
There's been significant 222.100 activity from MI, OH, IN, TN,
KY and western portions of VA.
I know Bob's been looking our direction because he tells me
that nobody answers his CQ's when he calls to the NW from
his EM89 QTH.
So here's your friendly reminder -- maybe the 222 activity
will pick back up in the western Great Lakes.
144 long-range nets for tomorrow night are ON. Full details
are up at kc9bqa.com. We had a record 59 check-ins last Wed.
and that story is also up at my website.
