We're in the 3rd year of expanding 2m activity, and there's
never been a greater variety of signals for you to choose from.
Most of the Eastern half of the USA is within range of 2m action,
every Wed. night. Take 2 minutes and read on for the full picture.
Or you can always visit kc9bqa.com for full details, I just added
some info there.

We think having various options makes the bands more alive.
The idea is to make Wed. a "can't-miss" night on 2m. Even if a
net doesn't interest you, know this: We encourage all VHF'ers
to get on 144.220 and lower, and call CQ in various directions to
stir up their own activity. If dozens of guys in different grids and
states do this, then we've really accomplished something together.

Everyone agrees there aren't nearly enough signals on the
bands. Help us improve activity by spreading this info in your
part of the world. You are free to snip and edit to your taste.
Main thing is to get guys active on 2m on Wednesdays.

      TONIGHT'S NET OPTIONS ARE:
KA0KYZ kicks things off from EN33, Southeast Minnesota,
on 144.230, and he's now starting at 2345Z, or 6:45pm central/
7:45pm eastern. He's now starting 15 minutes earlier so the guys
out east of him (talking WI, MI, OH, IN and VE-3) can focus on
his signal. After KA0KYZ is done looking east about 0000Z, he
then continues clockwise, going SE, S, SW, W, NW and N.
** You guys in MN, make sure to say hello to Terry when you
can. He covers the whole state, if anyone up north is listening.**

Tonight I am on 144.240, from EN63, just north of Milwaukee.
I start up at 0000Z, or 7pm central/8pm eastern. I start by looking
north into the U.P. of MI, then go clockwise, just like KA0KYZ,
but a little bit later. So after you try for 'KYZ on .230, tune up to
144.240 and say hello to me. WB9LYH in EN54 should be back
next week and I understand he's a much easier shot for NLRS guys.

For over a month now, we've been very pleased to add K8TQK
in EM89, Southern Ohio. Huge signal -- everyone within 300-500
miles of EM89 needs to help spread the word.
K8TQK gets on 144.250 at 0030Z, or 8:30pm eastern. He
starts out by looking NNE, then swings clockwise a full 360. Last
week with fairly flat bands, he was able to work K4EQH in EM54,
far NW Alabama. That had to be at least a 450-550 mile path.
