June VHF contest June 12/13: We will be camping and likely will miss
the June VHF event from our QTH in EN25. It is possible that we might
get on 6m from our campsite for a while as we will have a rig with us.
If we get on the air it will likely be with the N2BEN call sign.
Field Day: N2BEN and I will likely be camping some where TBD for our
annual FD outing. (The rest of the family call signs will be headed to a
family reunion and not playing radio.) As long as Ben wants to operate
we will be a SSB station. Once he moves on to other activities I will
likely move to CW. As much as I would like to operate QRP CW with my K2
that is not a really an activity that is likely to keep a nine year old
interesting in playing radio so will be operating 100w. We will be
operating with the NG0R call sign.
FYI: We will likely be using the callsigns: N2BEN for VHF/UHF and NG0R
for HF from our QTH in EN25. (We do have two other licensed ops in our
house as well.)

> Just a reminder that the June VHF Contest is going to be upon us very soon, June 12 & 13. What is everyone up to? At this time I do plan to rove but that is dependent on my ability to get my rover station back together in time. Our club call, W0AUS, is available if someone, or some group, wishes to use it.

> Field Day is two weeks later, June 26, and is a good time to demonstrate VHF to many other non-VHF radio clubs. Over the last several years 6m has been hot during FD. Again, if any NLRS members wishes to put together a FD effort, the club call is available.
