Hello NLRS land.  

The first weekend in May found 18 NLRS club members out and about playing in the SBMS 2.3 GHz And Up Contest.   Although distances were not record breaking, the group did make 177 contacts on 2304, 85 contacts on 3456, 83 contacts on 5760, and 431 contacts on 10368 for a total of 776 contacts - this should help to amortize the cost per Q ratio.   Distance ranged from 270 km to 1 km.  Despite missing our secret weapon this year (hint - EN13vc) the club aggregate score was 102,051 points, up from last years score of 87,099.   This years increased score was generated by 45 more contacts then last year, increased activity on 3456 and 5760, and the fact that distance points on 2304 are weighted 2x (compared to last years rules).
