Hello NLRS.

Final reminder that Aurora 2010 will be held this Saturday, May 15, at the First Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake, MN. The church is located on the east side of Highway 61 about 2 miles north of I-694 .... its easy to find. PLEASE REMEMBER that we are guests. We are past the date for e-registration but we do accept walk ins. The conference fee is $5.00 which goes directly towards offsetting the costs for the conference. This is also an excellent time to renew your NLRS members ship which is also $5.00, so along with your antennas for testing, bring a nice crisp $10 bill with you! Full conference information can be found at http://www.lakebethany.com/aurora/Au10.htm .

And speaking of antennas, the weather forecast is looking favorable for us to be able to set up the antenna range. There will be two antenna ranges going on in parallel - 144 through 1296, and 2304 through 10 GHz (Donn, correct me if I am wrong). If you have antennas to test, report in to the antenna test range and pay attention to what is going on there as they move through the bands fairly quickly and its your responsibility to test your antennas. You do not need to bring anything else other than your antenna to test. The antenna range captains are often looking for a little help too. With the antenna range going on, this is often a good time for other show & tell activities outside, but please be mindful of keeping clear of the antenna range. I myself plan to bring my "rev B" rover design, or at least part of it, for show & tell. Bring your rovers, dishes, 10gig systems, etc.

We will break for lunch (on your own) from noon to 1:00 PM.

At 1:00PM we will convene in the meeting room down stairs - go in the front doors from the parking lot, take an immediate right turn, down the hall and down the stairs. Bill, K0AWU, has worked with fellow NLRS members to assemble a fantastic technical program. I have cut & pasted the most current agenda below. About half way through we will hold our annual NLRS business meeting so bring your thoughts and ideas about how to make us a better club to the meeting. At the end of the NLRS business meeting we will be announcing the 2010 NLRS Limited Rover and Wesslund awards. We should be wrapping up around 4:30 to 5:00 PM. If you are able to stick around for just a few minutes please help us close down the meeting room and to police the room and area to make sure that we are leaving it in good shape.
