Howdy all
Yep similar story - but mine had some fireworks - accidently
put 24v on a rare and expensive 47ghz gunn oscillator that only
needed 5v. The inline diode glowed like a LED for a fraction
of a second (or an OhNo second). Amazingly I found a replacement
gunn diode at Microwave Update - lesson learned, D'oh!

Congrats on getting your system up and running. I have been
in a few emails recently discussing the upcoming 10g contests
in August and September - will wait til after June to send
out more global spam for contest plans.
