There were several excellent suggestions as to where to have Friday evening
dinner before Aurora '10. Thanks to everyone who responded with ideas. As I
said, that's not my part of town, so I was really at a loss to what was
available (other than Bear Town Inn and Rudy's Redeye Grill).

I checked all the suggested places today and have narrowed the field to three.
What I'm going to do is describe them below and then ask for a vote **AND** an
indication if you'll be attending Friday nite dinner.

Rudys Redeye Grill
North end of downtown White Bear Lake, right on US61 at between 8th and 10th
Streets (in the Best Western motel).
A tad pricey, but good. (I've eaten there.)

Manitou Station
Middle of downtown White Bear Lake, 1/2 block EAST of US61 at 4th Street.
Again, a tad pricey, but highly recommended. One potential problem is that they
have live music starting at 9PM on Friday evenings.

Jimmy's
County Rd E East at I-35E. Almost exactly 2 miles from where Aurora is held:
Just over a mile south on US61 to Cty Rd E, then 1 mile WEST to Labore Ave.
Jimmy's is on the south side of Cty E in a strip mall attached to the Holiday
Inn Express. Kind of a typical bar/dinner arrangement. Seems to have lots of
room for us to get off in a corner. Some "Sports Bar" accountrements such as
big TV screens, etc. Least expensive of the three. They also have a catering
business and are recommended.

SO.
What I'd like is:

An e-mail (mycall at arrl.net) with:
1) a vote for which of the three you think best:
Rudy's Redeye Grill
Manitou Station
Jimmys

2) an indicatiopn of attendence:
Unconditionally (that is, where-ever its held)
ONLY if its held at (name)
No, not under any conditions. --You don't need to tell me about this choice.
:-)

PLEASE try to get back to me ASAP, but BEFORE TUESDAY evening (May 11th).
I WILL MAKE RESERVATIONS ON WEDNESAY, MAY 12th.

Thanks, folks. See you then, or at least at Aurora '10.
