The 144.240 SSB net called by WB9LYH in EN54, middle
of WI will have a time change, effective next week. Please
help spread the word to anyone who wants more activity on
VHF.
Tonight remains the same, 0000Z or 7pm central start.
WB9LYH starts out looking east into MI and beyond, then
goes slowly clockwise, ending at 0130 looking north into MN
and ONT.
Starting next week, May 12th, we switch to summer hours.
The 144.240 USB net will start one hour later until at least
September/October. The net will start at 0100Z or 8pm central.
If you're interested in the reasons for the switch, details are up
in a longer post entitled "Important QST -- Time Change for
144.240 Wed. SSB Net" at www.kc9bqa.com. I'd be grateful
if you'd read that because I like our check-ins understanding our
goals and tactics.
We're trying to develop VHF'ers who care about DX, who
care about creating their own activity, and care about recruting
others to make the bands more alive.
