Wanted -

30' RG-11 coax, either /A or /U coax that has not been outside.

I need to build a 1/4 wave matching section for a Butternut HF6V antenna and this appears to be a quarter-wave section of RG-11. If you have some, please let me know how much you want for it and what the velocity factor is -- although I can probably find that if I know the manufacturer and part number (although some companies do not publish this data).

If it is Belden 8213 cable, the Velocity factor is .75 according to the ARRL antenna handbook and a 1/4 wave section of RG-11 coax at 14.250 Mhz is 12' 11" although Belden claims the velocity factor is .84 which makes the length 14' 6". For anyone interested, the math involved is L=((983.6/f)*.25) * v Where L = length in feet of a 1/4 wave section; f = frequency in Mhz; and v is the velocity factor. My calculations are L=((983.6/14.250)* .25) * .84 or L = 14' 6"
