I do plan to have the 222.061 beacon back up and running following last
summers lightening damage.   The antennas were taken down, cleaned, and
tested at Aurora.   They consist of a pair of stacked loops and I think
they measured about 2.2 dB or so.  They will go back up into the pine tree
at 60'.    I have new LMR400 feedline ready to route (the old feedline was
so old I'm not sure what it is ..... its "black").   The transmitter has
been fixed and is running perhaps 0.5 watts.   I have a 20 watt brick PA
that needs to be built and integrated.   So I hope to have it operational
soon - my target is before Central States.
