Did the final work on the 6m antenna today, so the W0ZQ/R appears to be ready for next weekend with 6m through 10 GHz. New this year is a rotator so I no longer have to turn the car - this is the first contest with it so we shall see how it plays. At this time, my plans are to activate the St. Charles grid corner (EN33/34/43/44) one day and the Winsted corner (EN24/25/34/35) the other day. Which day is which may depend on the weather so I will be watching that as the weekend draws nearer to lock that in in the W0UC spreadsheet. I will indeed be on 144.240, so QSYing will be to the "40's" (50.140, 144.240, 222.140, 432.140, 902.140, etc) and will work hard to exhaust all takers before moving on - with the new rotator I hope to be a little more "pointing agile" which should help. I also swish the VFO looking for fixed stations calling CQ and fellow rovers, the rovers particularily on their stated freqs. I also call CQ on my primary freq (144.240) with beam headings towards know activity & stations. I love CW and can do split mode Q's (SSB/CW) just fine.
73, Jon
