Jon,
One other place to look is the Hobby Shop/model railroad area. The bulbs used
for locomotive headlamps, passenger cars interiors, and track-side signals are
similar in size ("grain-of-wheat' bulbs) and are usually available in 5-6 and 12
volt versions. Hub Hobby on Penn Ave, north of 66th Street in Richfield.
(Across the street from the water-tower. Trains are in the back and to the
right of where you come in.) Hub Hobby also has a store just off Rice Street
just north of Hyw 36. Turn east like you're going into McDonalds, and keep
going ~200 yds. The only other place I know of is the corner of Lexington and
University. Don't know the name. South end of the block of building in the SE
corner of the intersection, in the basement. Has a RR Crossing flasher outside.
Everybody else in the cites have "toy trains," and not likely to have the bulbs.
