Soapbox:  Ya, this is HF, but its still a lot of fun.  I started the
contest just south and just west of Pine Island in Dodge county at 8:00 AM
Saturday morning.  The contest starting out with a bang - running 80m CW I
had 20 contacts in the first 10 minutes, 40 contacts in the first 20
minutes, and 90 contacts in the first hour.  I activated eight counties in
total - Dodge, Olmsted, Goodhue, Wabasha, Dakota, Rice, Scott and Les
Sueur.  The 71 20m SSB contacts came mostly while I was driving through
Goodhue county on the way from Wabasha. All in all, a very fun day of
playing radio.  My only run in was with the Goodhue county snow plow who
want to plow the spot that I had stopped to operate from - its a little
unnerving to have a VERY large snow plow pull up behind you !
