Brief report on the last weekend.

Only operated sporatically on the weekend; total of about 8 hours.

Total; 81 Qs; 48 mults; 15,408 claimed score.  Club will be Badger Contesters.

Masthead preamps for 432 and 1.3 worked fine Saturday AM, but died at the start of the test, both bands!! Go figure.

Conditions seemed average at best, and despite the loss of the preamps, I heard several stations or QSOs, but could not get their attention, like W9RVG, W9FZ (at some stops), and some of the W8 guys.  Missed several that were known to be active, but due to time, lost the ability to connect.

I felt like a regular alligator on 432, where the preamp makes a large difference.  Local activity seemed to be lacking as well, basically nobody in metro Milwaukee showed up, except for an intrepid few.
