Soapbox: Well, yes, I operated my home station, but I could not let a string of six years of roving come to an end, so on Sunday morning I threw my "easy" bands into the car and activated EN34 and EN35. The rover station was my FT897 with 100 watt bricks for 222 and 432, a three element yagi on 222 and a omni on 432, and my 2 watt 5760 dish and 6 watt 10 gig dish. First stop was atop the Park & Ride in Bloomington, just east of the Mall of America. Made 22 Q's there on the four bands include some nice signals with KM0T, EN13vc, on 5.7 and 10gig at about 310 km. I look around for W9FZ/R and K0AWU with no luck with my small antennas, so it was then on to Ridgeway Parkway and EN35. Again, best DX from the Parkway was Mike at about 321 km. Thanks Bill, K0AWU, for the 222 and 432 Q's from here. Signals on 5.7 and 10 gig's were easy off of downtown for the activity hour at Noon - many thanks to KC0P, N0HZO, KC0IYT, WB0LJC, KE3QT, WA2VOI, and W0GHZ for being around for some fun & easy uW Q's. Ended up with 22 Q's from EN34 and 35 from EN35 for a rover score of 5,814 points, and the string of seven years of roving continues. Onward to Rovermania VIII !

73, Jon
