    Good day,

If you're from W or N MN, SD, ND or the Winnipeg area,
I'd like a bit of your time. Have an open mind, please. :)

I've been emailing with a fellow from DN96 for some time
now. K0HL in Glen Ullin, ND, between Bismarck and
Dickinson. He loves 20m CW but is now asking a lot of
questions about V/UHF. I am trying to find who might be
within 100-300 miles of him on weak-signal. I have next
to no idea who all is QRV in ND/SD and SK and MT.

K0HL's interest at this point seems to be more about
roving. He told me he'd be willing to go to DN66/67 for
the August UHF with -- uh -- get ready for a giggle --
with loops for 432. I gently told him he might be *really*
disappointed. But don't worry about that; I'll work with
him on the realities of getting out farther. He's already
listening to yagi suggestions.

I think if we can find him some activity soon, before
winter sets in, we just might be able to keep his interest.
So I'm trying to find who's within a few hundred miles of
him.

Anyone who can help with callsigns and locations, I'd
appreciate it. It just may pay off down the road. I'm
going to do a phone call with him tomorrow or Tuesday,
and it would help if I could honestly tell him, "hey, there are
a few possibilities."

    Tnx, 73,
    Todd KC9BQA
