Hello NLRS land.
Many thanks to Paul, W0UC, for his work to establish an easy & painless way
to register for Aurora '10. If you have not already, please click on
http://www.LakeBethany.com/aurora/Au10.htm to register. If you are not
attending Aurora, you can still use this link to pay your $5.00 NLRS yearly
dues.
Regarding Aurora, many NLRS club members contribute their time to this
event. In addition to W0UC working on registration, K0AWU is working with
W0VB, N0HJZ, WA0RSE, VE4MA, K0MHC to provide us with a top notch technical
program for the afternoon hours. W0JT has stepped forward once again to
help us with A/V. W0ZQ, KC0IYT, and N0UK will be presenting during the
NLRS business meeting. WA2VOI, with help for others, will be there bright
and early at 9:00 am to set up and run the 2m through uW antenna range.
As you can see there are dozens of club members putting in their own time
to make this a successful event for everyone. As the only upper Midwest
gathering devoted solely to the VHF/UHF/uW weak signal enthusiast please
attend (and please register NOW).
With this note I am also making a last call for nominations for the
Wesslund Award - I will close down nominations as of this Sunday evening.
Please send any nominations that you may have to one of your club officers
- W0ZQ, N0UK, or KC0IYT, for consideration.
See you at Aurora '10 !
73, Jon
W0ZQ
