Hello All

Just wanted to let you know my father (Jerry Grokowsky, WA9HCZ, EN43) passed on this past week (Sept 15).  I know many of you had QSOs him over the years on VHF/UHF.

He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in November of 2006 and had been trying nearly every treatment he could to prolong his life.  He was still active in ham radio right up to the end - he was in the middle of putting a mobile rig in his van before going to the hospital for his final days.
