[NLRS] MUD 2009 Update -- Hotel Reservations Ending

 We have expanded the block of rooms once for Microwave Update 2009 (www/
microwaveupdate.org) and we are approaching our cutoff from the hotel for
the $89 rate.  This rate is substantially lower that their "default" rate
($169) and lower that some of the large conferences we know are at the hotel
(one we checked had a $115 rate and consumes the entire hotel). Because we
have to negotiate with the hotel to expand the block when we exhaust it, and
we are only four days from our cutoff (9/21), we recommend that you make a
reservation immediately if you would like to attend MUD at the discounted
rate.  If you encounter any problems with the rate, it simply means our
extended block is full again so just write Al Ward, W5LUA or myself an email
(or call us) and we will contact the hotel and attempt to expend the block
again.  My impression is that it may be difficult for us to do this on the
21st so don't wait until the last minute!
We have a great set of speakers this year and and four (YES, FOUR) workshops
including phase noise analysis, antenna measurement, spectrum & network
analyzers and noise figure measurement.  All of this info including the
speaking schedule is now on the website.  We're still a month out and with
the economy, airline travel looks inexpensive compared to previous years.
 Come join your friends and hang-out at Microwave Update!  We also have
information on the ladies trips on the website now so you can share this
info.

The online registration is online now so you may register for the
conference.  If you plan on bringing equipment to be tested, please let us
know on the registration form so that we can be prepared to test what you
bring.
