FYI Guys
See below ... Ken is wanting to operate from Hailstone Butte DN96dv during the contest next weekend. That is DN96dv .... out by Bismark at 2500ft. He is not real wild about operating anything east of Bismark. I visited with him a bit on the phone and I think he may call Dennis NT0V.

Hello Bill,
I
have a little squirt station mounted in my pickup truck. I have an Icom
7000, a 4 element quad (tuned for the bottom of 144 Mhz) on a ten foot
mast, mounted above the box
of my pickup truck. I am a CW op, but will do SSB if necessary.
I
would like to set up and operate from a rare, or relatively rare, grid
square here in western North Dakota. I don't know a common grid square
from a rare grid square; that's
where you come in.
1.)
Can you direct me to a web site where I can locate a rare grid square
in North Dakota, or can you personally recommend a grid square I might
operate from?
2.)
Given that North Dakota is very close to the end of the earth, is there
a place I could publish my location; so others would point their
antennas up here. Maybe I could
give out my rare grid? I have a toll free line; 877-425-4879, CDT,
normal business hours, 7 days a week, even Labor Day.
