I'm still working on the 10 GHz gear, finished the antenna feed last
night. Have to work on the IF and its interfacing next.

I'll probably work 6 through 432 from home, maybe 10 G from the yard for
nearby rovers for VHF contest. Maybe as a Rover in MN somewhere for 10 G
and up.

I have added a serious complication for future activities, that will
work out in the long run. A seller of a house on a high high Iowa
elevation near Ellsworth and I are within septic tank and well
inspections and care of agreement. Closing Nov 2. For that place, I plan
to convert the attached two car garage to shop and ham shack which will
take a bit of work before I can move this basement full. The place comes
with a 42 x 56 metal machine shed with concrete floor that can store
lots of stuff, but I only want to move the sheet metal and machine tools
once. The seller wants me to do the septic inspection and repair (might
need to be replaced, few pass inspection around here and can't get the
deed until its approved, new Iowa law) as well as to care for the
closing or updating of the old well. The well might be an asset for a
future geothermal system and the house will need a furnace in the
foreseeable future. I plan fantastic antennas.
