We're in Week #4 of 222 Tuesdays for the Midwest and
really for anywhere east of the Rockies. (I've heard from
folks anywhere from CO, to LA, to KY, GA, and PA)

Please get on and support 222 activity. The preferred
times are 0000-0300Z. This is not a net, nor is there any area
to focus on. The idea is to get on/near 222.100, call CQ and
swing beams, looking for activity anywhere. Use this band
more than just 4-8 times per year.

I'm enjoying the V/UHF chat at www.on4kst.com more
with every passing week. By now, a few dozen have logged
in. Turning on the radio, logging into chat and seeing other
VHF'ers ready to play is very motivating.

Give this chat a try. It's the same chat hundreds of us
have been using for years on 6 meters. Just never been
utilized for 144, 222 and 432. The chat is free, no-strings-
attached, and it promotes activity. The 7 simple steps to sign
up are at http://kc9bqa.com/?p=1072

Start using this chat for 222 Tuesdays, and for the 144
nets on Wednesdays (heck, you can use it any evening) and
work more stations because you know who all is out there.
Or if prop is lousy, you can at least pass time pleasantly with
other VHF'ers beyond range.
