Icom IC-271a and IC-471a pair ssb/cw/fm. These both require the external PS
or 12 Volt DC source. These have some pedigree as I have wallpaper to prove
their usefulness. They come complete from a well cared for non-smoking
environment with original boxes, power cables, Mics, operational and service
manuals. The 271a has the limited very real Mars mod. which is 142-149. They
both have the PL tone boards. The 271a also has the internal receiver
pre-amp. These were a major improvement over the 251/451 series on the
receiver side and many still think they are better than the 275/475
especially in a loaded high RF metro area. I specifically got the 'a' models
to use external amps. External amps work better with these models.
