We're promoting 222 Tuesdays to a wider audience now. Every Tuesday,
from roughly 0000-0300Z, a wide variety of stations will be getting on/near
222.100, calling CQ, swinging the beams and enjoying this great band. States
heard from the last two weeks have been MN,IA,MO,WI,ILL,IN,MI,OH and
VE3-land. This week, stations in KY,GA and PA have asked to be added to the
email reminder list I have.
This is not a net, but a general activity period.
I'm happy to promote it, but it won't fly unless many of you get on and
support it when you can.

    The other 3 items are:
The 432 sprint this Wed. evening, from 7-11pm.
The 144 SSB nets are ON this Wed. hosted by WB9LYH who is the strongest
EN54 station on 2 meters. I will be doing the 432 sprint, and WB9LYH will
call the 144.240 and 144.250 nets on Wed. Details are on the website.
WB9LYH is looking for stations in the Dakotas, outstate MN, the U.P. of
MI, and all of IA, NE, KS and MO. Spread the word to 2 meter guys you know
who may not be on this reflector.

Also learn about an interesting chat V/UHF'ers can use during nets and
band openings to increase activity and monitor who all is on the air. Full
details about how to use this free, no-strings-attached chat are on the
website. It's the same chat many 50MHz ops have been using for years now.
No reason it can't be used for the higher bands.
