Last week, WB9LYH in EN54cl worked into Nebraska
and up into EN58, Thunder Bay, ONT with flat bands. What
fun will we have starting at 0100 Wed. night??

WB9LYH is on 144.240 again Wed. night, trying to stir up
activity in a wide area of the Midwest/Great Lakes. He starts
out looking E into MI at 0100, and then swings clockwise a full
360, calling CQ frequently. He's on until 0230, ending as he
looks north into U.P. of MI and Ontario. He has stacked
17B2's and 500 watts from a fantastic QTH in central WI.

      I'm up on 144.250 at 0130, from EN63ao. I start out
looking south and saying hello to Milwaukee/ILL check-ins.
I then go clockwise a full 360, looking for anyone/anywhere.

Consider using the real-time 144/432 MHz chat at
www.on4kst.com. It gives a greater understanding of just
where we're pointing and who we're hearing. You can also
use the chat to coordinate your own activity. WB9LYH
and I encourage net check-ins to look around on their own,
and create activity in areas we may not be able to reach.
Far better to have dozens of guys creating their own activity,
rather than simply waiting to work one guy who's net control.

Remember that I always update my website with every
net announcement and also with net reports. A lot of guys
may enjoy knowing who all checked into each net. There
are way more VHF'ers out there than I ever realized.

Visit my website a few times a week for a few minutes
and you're all caught up with what's going on.

     73,
