Hi Guys
Following up on Terry W0VB's post, I have a Collins TV-36 FAA rig that I guess I could part with if
someone is interested. I bought it for a 222amp and ending up building up an amp from scratch.
This TV-36 was originally used on 118mhz. The rig that I have had not been used on the ham bands
by the previous owner. It has in internal HV/Screen supply and a beautiful 4CX250B in a cavity that tunes
from below 2m to over 400Mhz. So NOT turnkey.
See: http://oai.dtic.mil/oai/oai?verb=getRecord&metadataPrefix=html&identifier=AD0649069
I have some documentation. The driver sections etc have to be removed and the PA cavity retuned. The 4CX250B requires very low drive <5watts.
The unit is to be 19" rack mounted and is HEAVY ~100lbs ... All that iron, blower, rugged cavity etc ...
If any interest, I could bring it down to AU09. Contact me off the reflector via email or 218-326-5658
