Band was so-so last night, and I'm sorry to report that I had
pretty bad noise issues. S5 at times, and mostly to the SW
thru WSW. It's been 6 or 7 weeks since the noise issue last
popped up -- oh well.

I'm fairly certain I missed at least one or two light stations, so
if I did, thanks anyway for trying to check in.

   Here's who we had:
   WB0YWW -- Bob -- EN22 S3
   N0TTW -- Chris -- EN32 S1
   W9HQ -- David -- EN43 S3
   KC9JTL -- Christopher -- EN43 (W9HQ's son)
   KA0PQW -- Matt -- EN33 S7 peaks
   KV9U -- Rick -- EN43 S5
   KC0LXB -- Charles -- EN34 S1
   K0SIX -- Vince -- EN35 S1

It was good to hear WB0YWW in there again from
just SW of Fort Dodge, IA. He must hear well, because
he was calling me while I was still pointing my beam toward
the Quad Cities. I just couldn't quite make out thru the noise
who the station was. Noise really irritates me, heheh.

Even with the noise and the marginal band conditions,
KA0PQW came up to a good S7 for a short time. Then
he was back down to S1 or S2.

    Looking forward to next week.

Oh yes... the Spring Sprints for VHF/UHF are soon! The first
one is April 6th, Monday night, 7-11pm local time. It's for 2 meters.
Many of you may have worked K9JK John as he roves during the
contests. Well John is now co-host of the Spring Sprints, and I'm
happy to help him spread the word.

Save some time to get on 2 meters on Mon., April 6th,
between 7-11pm. For more info, K9JK has created the following
webpage: http://groups.google.com/group/springsprints/web

Any questions or comments, just email,
     73,
