No wind issues this week, so we're looking forward to a good
net tonight. We now start up at 7:15pm each week.

For those who are new, or may have forgotten, you can use
this web page http://dxworld.com/vhfqso.html to keep track of
what's going on, and who's checking in. I'm trying to use it
to give stations an idea of where I'm looking, and who I've heard.

However, if you don't want to use that page, it's perfectly
fine. All are welcome and encouraged to check-in for as little or
as long as you like. The purpose of the net is to create activity on
2m SSB. You can help by spreading the word to others.

Remember that I start out at 7:15pm by looking to my SSW, thru
Rockford, Peoria and toward St. Louis. I then slowly edge my
beams clockwise, calling "CQ Activity Net" frequently. How soon
I start looking SW, or W, or NW depends on how many check-ins
I'm getting.

With this net, I only look from my SSW to my due North.
The exclusion of the Milwaukee and Chicago areas is deliberate.
I'm really trying to find weak ones in outstate WI and IL, plus all
of MO, IA, MN and U.P. of MI.

Milwaukee and Chicago areas get their chance with the 144.250
Badger Contesters net at 8:30pm on Wed. Everyone getting this
email is also welcome to check in to the 144.250 net. I look a
full 360 degrees with that one.

     73,
     Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
     50 thru 2304 (bands I have)
