[NLRS] 144.240 SSB net *ON* tonight -- 7:15 new start

I'm going to stick to a 7:15 start so we can have a more
relaxed pace. With increasing numbers of check-ins, I want
enough time to make sure I find everyone who is trying.

(A 7:15 start means that I probably will be prone to
looking toward NLRS and CVVHF-lands after 7:30-7:45.
If you hear me chattering away with La Crosse and Winona,
you know I'm getting closer)

At 7:15pm, I will start out looking to my SSW, toward
Rockford, Peoria and St. Louis areas. I will slowly edge
my beams clockwise, calling "CQ Activity Net" frequently.
I will stop when I'm looking due north, toward NE WI,
and the U.P. of MI. The exclusion of the Milwaukee/Chicago
areas is deliberate -- they are welcome to check into the
144.250 net at 8:30pm on Wed's.

We should keep using the following website to keep
track of who's checked in and who's trying:
http://dxworld.com/vhfqso.html
You can "raise your hand" here, and also keep track of
who all's on board, so you can target stations to talk with
after the net is done.

If you can think of anyone else who would enjoy knowing
about this net, please put them in touch with me, and I'll add
them to the email list. Feel absolutely free to spread the word
to other 2 meter hams.

Our sole purpose is to encourage activity on lesser-used
portions of 2 meters.

As always, any questions or comments, just email.

     73,
     Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
     50 thru 2304
