You guys know the drill by now... check the website for
frequent updates. Every net is announced yea or nay, on
the website. Tonight is 146.43 FM simplex net night @
8:30pm. I am only omni, up 90' on FM, so it's going to take
some horsepower for a NLRS or CVVHF check-in to make
it.

Every net also generates a net report, where you can see
who all checked in, their QTH, signal strength, etc. I just
got thru posting those net reports from last night
on: http://www.kc9bqa.com Last night's SSB net was
highlighted by our first-ever Upper Michigan check-ins,
from rare grid square EN65. I talk about this on the posts
I just made at the website. Those U.P. check-ins are good
guys to have in the hobby, so check out my post. I enjoy
being able to spread good news.

There's also a forecast for enhanced tropo conditions off
and on the next 4-5 days. Peak times for longer-range contacts
on 2 meters and up would tend to be later in the evening thru
early in the morning. I have provided a link to those forecasts,
and an explanation on the website.

I know most of you guys with CVVHF and NLRS already
know about the Hepburn tropo forecasts, but if nothing else,
pass the info and word of my website and the nets along to
those who are V/UHF curious. We can always use new blood.

Any questions or comments, email me or leave your
comment at the website.

      73,
      Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
