Another very fun contest. Decided to try the West Union corner even though I had never been there. Got some good ideas from Bruce W9FZ and Glen KC0IYT. I found some really good spots. The fine weather really made it nice to be out roving. The only touble happened Sunday morning when we pulled in the EN44 spot and there was steam coming out from under the hood. I had a radiator hose leak. My good fortune was it was near the clamp so once the engine cooled down, with a little work from my knife the offending part of the hose was removed and the hose put back good as new.

The highlight was Saturday evening from EN43. We had just put the antennas in travel mode and I had the radio on the 2 meter loops when I heard Bruce in EN64. We completed the contact on 2M with the loops and then completed contacts on both 222 and 432 with my antennas about 6 feet off the ground.
