I will be out roving this weekend on an extremely limited basis (the
harmonics, ages 3 and 5, will be coming with me).

Sometime on Saturday afternoon, probably around 4 or so, I'll head for EN35
from the Ridgeway site in Northeast Minneapolis. Other times, I'll probably
be operating from the driveway in EN34kx.

On Sunday, I'll either repeat the process, or possibly head to an outlying
grid for a while.

I will be running 5 watts to squalos on 2 and 432, and to a VERTICAL Hamstick
on 6. So I'll mostly be handing out QSO's to the strong ones, but I'm still
amazed at the DX I can work occasionally with this setup. I also have a QRO
FM rig on 2 meters, and will monitor 146.55. I have a handheld for 220, with
no plans for an external antenna, but I always manage a few QSO's on 223.5.

I am also borrowing W0ZQ's 10 GHz portable station.

I definitely want to put W0AUS in the log on 10 GHz. If that means driving to
Burnsville, that's what I'll do (avoiding 35W, which will be closed).

I'll be on calling frequencies, and the following frequencies, which will be
shared with K0AJL/R:

50.165
144.265
432.165

My XYL, KC0OIA, will be working, but she will be available for 10 GHz QSO's on
Saturday evening, and possibly Sunday. She will probably make a CQ on 146.46
or 146.55, so if you hear her, she can QSY to 10 GHz.

I hope to hand out a lot of points!

73,
Rick W0IS
