[NLRS] NLRS places high in "States Above"

Congratulations to two of our NLRS members for taking home the
2nd & 3rd place plaques in this years CSVHF "States Above" awards
program...      "Well Done" to Bill Davis, K0AWU taking  2nd honors
with
126 band states and to Gary Mohrlant, W0GHZ with 3rd place and
87 band states.  This represents quite an effort when considering
solar activity is at its lowest in the past 100+ years...

Bob Mathews, K8TQK was again high score with 182 band states for
an unprecedented 4th year...

Award certificates will be mailed to all others near the end of
August.
You still have time for sending your log to me (either e-mail or
USPO)
and qualify for the award...

July has been a farily good month for e's and tropo plus the
contests
of Aug/Sep should give everyone a good start for 2010....
