Hi All
I am hoping to operate next weekend as a first time rover-
I have found many good tips on the web for equipment
and setup for roving but would appreciate any recommendations
on decent locations around Minnesota/Wisconsin--I can
devote approximately 10 hours and up to a 250 mile route
for this effort-
Equipment is quite modest--An Icom 706IIG and halos or
short yagis for 6/2/70cm on a 20 foot push-up mast.
All tips / location recommendations are greatly appreciated..

ps--My apologies for the "3 area " callsign-It is left over from
when I worked for BT&D-DuPont in Wilmington,Delaware--
I am retired now and hope to get my original High School
callsign, WB0EBG, back in the coming months as I get
back into Ham Radio operating --rjj
