With a record number of check-ins last week, I'm going to
try starting up at 7:15pm. We'll see if this is a permanent
change or not.

One change I'd like to see permanent is increased use of
these links during the net. It will help to keep everyone in
different directions up to speed on what's happening.

The first link is for actual reports of Q's. People get cranky
sometimes if there's too much chit-chat there.
http://dxworld.com/144prop.html

A more relaxed place for chit-chat during a net is at
http://dxworld.com/vhfqso.html Use this if you want to
"raise your hand" for either me, or to get others to QSY
down, if you want to work them while the net is in progress.
(Or afterwards)

I will try to post updates during the net on the 2nd link.

I will start out looking toward Rockford/Peoria/St. Louis
about 7:15 tonight. Then edge my beams slowly clockwise,
looking for check-ins in a 160 degree arc. I end up looking
due north, and if I have enough time, I try to take a 2nd look
thru the SSW/N arc after about 8:00-8:10pm.

For EN34/44 guys, know that I look your way after I
look at Dubuque, then La Crosse and Winona. For EN37
guys, know I look your way after Eau Claire/Twin Cities.

Excluding Milwaukee/Chicago areas is deliberate; I prefer
to run those guys during the 144.250 net at 8:30pm.

   Any questions, comments, just email.
Please read the next email I'm going to send out shortly.
   73,
   Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
   50 thru 2304
