Are you getting the error in an e-mail from the ARRL contest robot? Or are
you getting it while trying to submit your log on the online form?
I had the same problem with the online form when I put in my first ever 10 GHz
QSO's.
Unfortunately, I don't remember how I solved the problem. :-)
I don't think I ever got the online form to accept that band, so I think what
I did was use the online form to prepare my log, but then manually corrected
it and submitted it by e-mail myself.
IIRC, I had to use a false band for those contacts, and then go through and
manually change it. For example, I put 222 down as the band. Then, when It
gave me my final Cabrillo log, I copied it and pasted it into Notepad, and
then just closed that page. Then, I went through and changed "222" to "10G".
Finally, I pasted that into the text of an e-mail, and mailed it to the robot
with my callsign as the subject line.
I'm pretty sure that's what I had to do.
Go figure Zack... I took your advice and tried "10G" (capital G).
Doesn't work. I get the same error message "Band designation
is not numeric"
So the robot wants to see something else for 10 gig, and I'm
sure shortly, someone will be able to help.
Weird, though, that your log submission worked using 10G and
mine gets the error...
