Hello BCers and NLRSers,

Another Friday, so another Update to the Logs Received status
for the UHF Test.

The ARRL Logs Received Report is (was?) showing 188 Logs
received for the UHF Contest as of my check just a few minutes
before this post. The 'dupe' count is back up to 2 so that
leaves 186 (edging CLOSER to the crossing of that 200 log
threshold and this is ONLY 'e-logs'...last year there were
TWENTY-SIX 'paper' logs turned in so a similar number of paper
logs as last year SHOULD top 200...YAY!!! and Thanks to ALL who
HAVE ALREADY submitted logs!).

TWENTY-NINE Logs now list NLRS (that is IF N0AKC's, which shows
Northern Light Radio Society, is counted...or maybe Charlie can
battle with the robot one more time to make 'Light' plural, just
to be *sure*). Donn re-submitted his log to correct the
"Unlimited Rover" that I noticed and mentioned in Update 2 but
the replacement is listed just as WA2VOI and the WA2VOI/R that
had the possible "Unlimited" did NOT get removed from the Logs
Received report (one of the 'dupes' to which I refer above). I'm
confident that Sean/the Log Checker will properly take care of
that.

As mentioned last time, when it was 'just' 23 or 24...29
continues to be an OUSTANDING level of participation by NLRS.

Badger Contesters' count remains at TEN logs ON the Logs
Received report with ONE known to have been mailed in as a paper
log and those same two other logs that I was expecting remain
YET TO BE entered, so BC is still 'hoping' for 13

The Southern California Contest Club now has TEN entries on the
report and the one that I noted as an "Unlimited Rover" in my
last update is now showing as a Rover, bringing their Rover
count to 8 of the 10 (7 Rover and 1 Limited Rover). I've not
seen any Claimed Scores for any of their efforts so I guess we
can only wonder what they did. Even with the limit on the number
of Qs by one Rover with another, with THAT MANY rovers out there
and presumably 'some sort of coordination', significant
individual scores (200K+?) ARE possible (or should I say
"likely"?).

SCCC 'passed' the count for the Pacific Northwest VHF Society
which did get one more to bring their count to 9.

And HOW ABOUT THAT COUNT of logs from Rovers!!! Now at
FITTY-ONE! OVER 1/4 of the 186 logs. That includes 33 "classic"
Rovers, 15 Limited and 3 Unlimited. 124 Single-Op logs (split 81
Low Power and 43 High Power) and 11 Multi-Ops make up the rest.

Here are the logs for Badger Contesters of which I am aware
(along with 'claimed score' if I am aware of it):

(K0PG/R - R - ~19k)
K2YAZ - B
K9ILT/R - R - 18,105
K9JK - A - 48
K9JK/R - RL - 15,504
KC9BQA - A - 49,860
KC9JTL - A
W9FZ/R - R - 166,914
(W9GA - B? - ~16k)
W9HQ - A
W9SNR/R - R - 69,747
WB8BZK/R - R - 20,826
WO9U - A - 3

The letter(s) following call sign are the Entry Class:
A = Single-Op Low Power
B = Single-Op High Power
R = Rover
RL = Limited Rover.

The ARRL Section breakdown remains very focused in the midwest
with Minnesota now at 25, followed by Illinois with 16 (and at
least 1 more expected) and Wisconsin now at 12 (with one 'paper
log' expected and another electronic log expected from W9GA). Of
the logs that are IN electronically, that makes FIFTY-THREE of
the 186 logs from just THREE ARRL Sections.

The Orange section has separated itself from the 'pack', now
having 9 entries (most of the SCCC Rovers listed Orange as their
Section).

Michigan, Sacramento Valley and Western Washington remain at 6
logs and the previous 5 counters of Eastern Massachusetts,
Georgia and Virginia have been joined by North Texas and Western
Massachusetts.

Logs have been submitted from 47 U.S Sections as well as from
Ontario and Quebec.

73, JK
