[NLRS] Rain Scatter Season?

Just curious...

Has this been an extremely poor summer for rainscatter or about normal?  
Seems contacts were a lot harder than last summer.  I just got to try a 
few calls this summer, but when the rainscatter program showed mutual 
cells between me and other stations, we heard nothing when trying to 
make a QSO...

If nothing else, maybe we'll have decent snow scatter this winter...
