[NLRS] Use of Icom PCR receiver for contesting?

Has anybody considered using one of the ICOM PCR series receivers for
contesting, perhaps for monitoring bands for activity while operating
elsewhere?

Do these receivers have sufficient sensitivity to be useful for this kind of
