As of 10:15 AM CDT 08/18/09, there were 23 logs received at ARRL from
people claiming to be affiliated with the NLRS.

The breakdown was as follows:
-- Single Op
  -- Low Power........... 6
  -- High Power.......... 2
-- Multi Op
  -- Low Power........... 0
  -- High Power.......... 1
-- Rover
  -- Rover.............. 11
  -- Limited Rover...... 3
  -- Unlimited Rover.... 0

Overall, I saw a total of 161 logs received from all stations. Will we
break 200 logs this year? Like K9JK, I sure hope so!

I saw only one log that had a blank for the club name that looked to me
like it **might** be from a NLRS member, KC0VFP, but I don't recognize the
call. Kevin, if you are subscribed to this mail reflector, and if you are a
member of NLRS, you can add the club name to your log and re-send it to the
robot, which will update your submission.

I also saw one log (included in the totals above) where the club name was
spelled as:
  Northern Light Radio Society
instead of
  Northern Lights Radio Society

I don't know if the robot treats those as synonyms. I thought that in the
past, if you put in an invalid club name, it would reject the log. Maybe
not. Just to be on the safe side, N0AKC should re-submit his log with the
name spelling corrected (plural on the Lights), to insure that NLRS is
credited with his log. The same thing applies, of course, to any other
station that I didn't recognize as affiliated with NLRS whose log had a
blank in the club name spot. Note that "NLRS" is NOT an acceptable club
name, but I didn't see any submissions that tried to use that as a club
name.

Keep those logs going in to the ARRL robot! Quoting from the web site:
"Deadline for submission of entries for this contest is 1800z Monday,
   September 1, 2009."

Please get a round tuit (or, "get around to it") and submit your log if you
haven't done so yet! As always, paper log submissions are still welcome,
and don't show up on the totals above. Again quoting from the web site:
"PAPER LOGS will only be added to the queue after the submission deadline
has passed and they have been initialized into the database. This could
be up to 4-6 weeks after the contest submission deadline."

I sure hope we break lots of records with our RoverMania VI effort this
year!

P.S., there are 9 logs showing from Badger Contesters, 1 log from Midwest
Contesters, 2 from Minnesota Wireless Assn, and 6 logs from Society of
Midwest Contesters. Whatever your affiliation, including "none", please
submit those logs, electronically or via paper!

73 de WØJT (yes, my log is in there with the limited rovers!)
