[NLRS] 10 GHz Preamp Protection

Gurus,

I am *considering* adding a preamp to my portable 10 GHz outfit. I am
using a DEMI 10 GHz transverter. I have the SMA T/R relay mounted at
the feedhorn with UT-141 jumpers between the N.C. contact and the RX
port of the transverter and between the N.O. contact and the output of
the (external) 2W PA.

Question: If I "break" the RX coax and insert the preamp between the
T/R relay and the RX input of the transverter, will there be enough
isolation in the relay to keep from blasting the preamp during TX or
should I use some other sort of protection?

If you have a sketch of how you do it, you can attach it to an email
sent directly to me at acepilot at bloomer.net

Thanks!
