[NLRS] The R-ZERO-V-E-R Influenza?

Hello NLRSers and BCers,

MY #1 Goal was accomplished...I HAD FUN! (I hope everyone else
did, too!)

I think we have a NEW strain of Influenza spreading among the
Midwest VHF Community, I'm calling it the R-ZERO-V-E-R
strain...not sure HOW contagious and there may not be a cure (do
"we" really WANT to cure it?). We even have three VARIANT
strains, the "classic", the "Limited", and, though maybe NOT in
the Midwest, the "Unlimited".

It was amazing to work THREE other Rovers in and around the
Chicago and I understand the K0PG/K9ILT Family Rover was out
around here, too (but I missed them). Even though it was "only"
1 QSO, GREAT to catch W9FZ/R in EN45 FROM EN51 (now THAT is a
haul for Rover-to-Rover!). Even caught the W0AUS station from
two stops, EN62ad and EN52xa (also some decent distances!).

I even did a "Single-Op" entry in addition to my rove (6 minutes
netted four FM QSOs using HTs from IN the house).

Looking forward to seeing additional reports, from other Rovers
AND from fixed stations!

My 3830 postings are pasted in below.

DON'T FORGET TO SUBMIT LOGS (>200 Logs in UHF, >200 Logs in UHF,
 >200 Logs in UHF, >200 Logs in UHF, >200 Logs in UHF, >200 Logs
in UHF!)

And DO consider writing up a sidebar for the Web Results article
(and I'm also very open to ANY form of info to be mentioned for
highlights in the MAIN article, *some* of which will be in QST!)

#1 Goal accomplished...I HAD FUN! And for barely 6 hours on the
air, quite happy
with the QSO totals but did not catch ANYONE in EN53.

Mult. Total includes 4 Rover Grids Activated.

Several stations were contacted on all 3 bands (or 2) from
several of my
stops.

AMAZING to have three other rovers out besides me...JUST in the
Chicago area
(and I know the Family Rover of K0PG and K9ILT was around, too,
but I missed
them).

Has "Rover-Mania" becoume the "Rover-Flu"??? Seems like it is
spreading!
