Slow sprint tonight, not very good prop, and not too
many on. Gave it a solid 3-hour effort and did have
some enjoyable Q's.

Best DX was W0VB in EN34, KA0PQW in EN33 and
WA8RJF in EN91. KA0PQW took a good 5-7 minutes,
but it wasn't like we had anything else to do. :)

Worked K9JK/R in his 2 grids and also managed a couple
of tough FM Q's with WB8BZK/R in 2 grids.

Time of last Q here was 0223; I didn't hear anything after
0230-35. Called in all directions both SSB (222.100) and
FM (223.50) for another 40 minutes, just in case. Funny
how one starts to hear things on a quiet dead band, LOL.

432 sprint is next Wed., again from 7-11pm.

As far as I know right now, the 144.240 (W thru N) and
144.250 SSB nets are on for tomorrow night. 8-8:30pm for
144.240 and 8:30 start for 144.250 Badger Contesters net.

For next week Wednesday's nets, (Oct. 8th) I think I'd prefer
to do the 432 sprint. This means someone else can step up
and take the 144 nets, if they feel strongly about it.

   73,

PS: Anybody else find it curious that SVHFS (the
sprints sponsor) does virtually nothing to promote their
own sprints? Never saw a post from them on VHF
reflector, or on VHF contesting reflector, nor on the
144 (last week) or 222 propagation logger.
