It’s just 7 days and counting until the Sept. ARRL VHF QSO Party and we
haven’t seen much activity on the NLRS or Badger Contesters reflectors yet.
Let’s beat the 2007 turnout in the upper Midwest. Just point your antennas
to the Northwest for many additional Qs. NT0V, W0PHD, VE4MA, K0TO and myself
are just some of the stations waiting to work you from these “rare”
Northwest grids.

This year we’ll be operating SOLP class from 50 MHz to 10 GHz on the tower
from EN26ha with:
50 MHz – 200 watts into a single 27’ 6M7
144 MHz – 200 watts into stacked 33’ 2M5WLs
*222 MHz* – 100 watts into stacked 32’ 222M7WLs
432 MHz – 100 watts into stacked 31’ 432M13WLs
902 - 3456 MHz – 10 watts into stacked 12‘  loopers
5.7GHz – ~200 mw into dual feed 24” dia. dish
10GHz - ~3 watts into dual feed 24” dia. dish

*Note that I hope to get the 222 setup up to snuff by Saturday.
We all need help from the dedicated rovers who are out there beating the
bushes to get everyone more Qs and grid multipliers.

Hope to catch you on the air.
