What is the "conventional" wisdom on trimming the leads of an MMIC a bit
to shorten them? I want to cut the input and output leads on my MAR-4
about in half to fit a mod I need to make on my transverter's TC board.
The device is in the TX IF path, so it is working at 144 MHz. The
Ground leads can be left normal length as they will be bent down through
a hole in the board and soldered to the groundplane. Issues?
