Subject has the short story all neat and tidy.

Longer version is that propagation was about average to
my ear, based on signals from EN82 Detroit area being
pretty light. However, K8TQK came on from EM89 after
about 9:30pm, and Bob was 20 over S9. About that time,
W9GA also worked K8GP who was very high up in FM19.
So there were definitely some moments.

Ken and I also worked K8TQK on 1296 so he could have
WI for the Central States VHF Society's States Above award,
and he was an honest S5 here on 1296.

Oh yes, did have some fun working N0IRS in EM29, and
N0PB in EM39, and that was about 7:30-40pm. Also heard
W0DRL from EM29, but it was sort of crowded on 432.100
and signals were light.

Thanks KA0PQW and W0ZQ for putting MN on the map.

Thanks K9JK for roving EN52 and 62. As well as new
rover WB9TFH - Gil, who's getting his feet wet around the
EN53/63/52/62 corner in West Allis (near west side of
Milwaukee) I've encouraged Gil to join Badger Contesters
so he can get advice and encouragement.

Grids worked here were (in order, based on time)
   EN62, 63, 53, 41. Then EM39, 29. Then EN33,
61, 34, 52, 82, 91. Then EM89, and EN61.

Had no new contacts after 10pm. Did work 3 stations
on 446.00 FM, with one fellow in EN61, 21 miles north of
Kankakee.

So keep the 6 meter sprint for Oct. 18th in mind.

   73,
   Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
   50 thru 2304
