Hello NLRS land.

If you have not seen this before, here is a handy  web based tool that I use 
a lot for planning my roving trips, checking  distances, etc.  The website is 
by F6FVY and is located  here:

At  the bottom you can type in a 2, 4 or 6 character grid and it you take you 
 there.  You can zoom in and out.  If you click and hold you can  pan.  If 
you click & release it will show you the six digit  subgrid.  You can also enter 
a "home" grid to get bearing and distances  from one spot to another.   On 
the top right you can select  "map", Satellite", or "Hybrid" which is a blend.
 
I often use this tool looking for rover spots, then switch over to Google  
Earth to check it out.
